Wal Chirachaisakul, known professionally as WAL (born 1991), is a distinguished oil painter, printmaker, and a pioneering figure in the contemporary art world, with a career spanning over a decade. Raised in a family with a deep-rooted passion for the business of playthings, WAL benefited from their unwavering support and genuine enthusiasm, which have served as steadfast foundations throughout his artistic journey.
WAL began his formal artistic training at the College of Fine Arts before advancing his studies at Silpakorn University, where he specialized in printmaking within the Department of Painting. During his academic tenure, his exceptional talent garnered significant recognition, most notably through securing top honors in Mezzotint art competitions.
