Collection: Greg Frederick

Greg FrederickΒ is an internationally recognized mixed media visual artist whoseΒ Vinyl Pop ArtΒ has earned a place in prestigious collections and venues around the world. His work is held in the permanent collections of theΒ Stax Museum of American Soul Music,Β Spotify’s headquarters atΒ 4 World Trade Center, andΒ True Colors United,Β Cyndi Lauper’s foundation to eradicate LGBTQ+ youth homelessness. His first museum showing, at theΒ Leslie-Lohman Museum of ArtΒ in 2011, placed his art alongsideΒ Andy WarholΒ andΒ Diane Arbus.

In recent years, Greg’s career has hit major milestones. He completed his first major international installation atΒ Scotiabank ArenaΒ in Torontoβ€”a permanent display honoring Canadian iconsΒ Neil Young,Β Avril Lavigne, andΒ Shania Twainβ€”unveiled as part of the venue’s redesigned VIP suites. Soon after, he brought his work to Nashville, creating artwork live at the iconicΒ Grand Ole Opry, exhibiting at theΒ Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and contributing to theΒ Music City Walk of FameΒ celebrations.

Greg’s collectors includeΒ Stevie Nicks,Β Paul Rudd,Β Duff McKaganΒ ofΒ Guns N’ Roses,Β Craig Kallman, chairperson and CEO ofΒ Atlantic Records,Β and world-renowned DJsΒ Carl Cox,Β Paul Oakenfold, andΒ Black Coffee. He has created custom commissions for stars such asΒ Halsey, marking her debut performance atΒ Madison Square Garden, and designed tour merchandise forΒ Courtney Love.Β HospitalityΒ clients includeΒ The RoxburyΒ in Catskills, NY, andΒ Signature HotelΒ in San Francisco, CA.

Working from his Brooklyn studio, Greg assembles each piece like a puzzle, layering fragments of vinyl, record sleeves, vintage magazines, cassette tapes, and other music relics to create warm, nostalgic, and vibrant tributes. Outside of his studio practice, you can catch him painting murals atΒ Art Basel MiamiΒ and in Brooklyn, NY.Β

Beyond his professional achievements, Greg is deeply committed to community and advocacy. He has worked extensively with the LGBTQ+ community through charitable projects and art donations, volunteered as an art teacher atΒ Gigi’s Playhouse, a non-profit organization for people with Down syndrome, and continues to seek ways to use his art to inspire, connect, and give back.
